Paul Gowers
Creative Director/Director
Paul is the lead creative on the Wilder team. Prior to founding Wilder, Paul was Creative Head of Film at Imagination, the world-leading communications agency where he oversaw campaigns for clients such as Ford, Coca-Cola and the Walt Disney Company. In 2004, Paul became a creative lead on the London 2012 Olympic bid, working with the team throughout the campaign and creating 3 films for the final presentation in Singapore. Alongside his role as Creative Director, Paul is a highly acclaimed filmmaker with many International awards for his work including Grand Prix Prizes both at the London IVCA and the New York Festivals. He is adept at drawing powerful performances from actors and non actors alike and for creating entertaining and emotive films with strong narratives.
Richard Batty
Managing Director
Richard is the Managing Director of Wilder. Prior to co forming the company with Paul in 2004 he spent nearly 20 years as one of the most sought after 1st AD’s in the country working with the likes of Daniel Kleinman, Jonathan Glazer and Spike Jonze on award winning advertising campaigns. Richard overseas all of Wilder’s projects.
Mollie Bishop
Producer
Mollie is an experienced Producer who has managed many of Wilder’s award winning productions. Her recent credits include a global brand film for KPMG, a film featuring David Beckham & Prince William for England’s 2018 World Cup bid and a series of films for Bentley.
DFran
Editor/animator
DFran is a talented editor and animator. Recent credits include an award winning series of recruitment ads for Poolia, a brand film for Bentley and an animation for Heineken.
Jim North
Writer
Jim began his career as a stand up comic winning Best London Stand up. His writing credits include two critically acclaimed shows for the Edinburgh Festival ‘The Arthur Dung Show’ and ‘Lazlo and Parkin’, which was nominated for a Perrier Newcomer Award. Television credits include the Montreaux award winning comedy series ‘Fur TV’ (Warp TV) and 3 pilots for ITV1 and the BBC. Jim’s writing credits for Wilder include the Football League ‘Enjoy the Match’ campaign, winner of the IVCA Grand Prix and Ripple, winner of Best Comedy at the LA Film Festival.
Flora Nichol
Production Assistant
Flora has joined us from Muckle Hen, an Edinburgh based production company, where she worked across corporates, commercials, animation and music videos. Flora supports all of Wilder's productons and is generally calm, resourceful and very busy!
Greg Hobden
Producer
Greg has over 15 years experience producing commercials, corporate films and music videos. He has worked throughout the world including, South Africa, Singapore, Europe and the Middle-East. Greg has great experience of working on logistically challenging projects on a variety formats including Red Camera and 35mm. Most recently he was senior producer on a major 12 month project in the UAE with a budget in excess of 2 million US dollars.
Mike Gosbee
Director
Mike’s approach to directing is informed by his background as an award winning stills photographer. His films have a distinct visual style and are often accompanied by striking soundtracks. Mike has a flair for innovative installation work and has a particularly strong reputation in the retail, fashion and automotive sectors. Recent clients include Fever London, Bentley Motors and Ford, with whom he has won prestigious awards in London and New York.
